Backyard cabin delivery
In Sydney Metro, delivery of your Melwood cabin in FAST and FREE (*free delivery to the last point of delivery vehicle access in NSW and ACT). Our specially-trained install partners assemble your cabin, usually within one day.
Outside of Sydney Metro? We may be able to deliver and assemble your cabin for you! Click here to search for your area in our Delivery Zone map. We often deliver Melwood cabins to areas of NSW the Central Coast, South Coast, Newcastle, Western NSW, and Canberra area, and have been doing so for the last 40 years.
If you’re after a little DIY action, and would love the satisfaction of assembling your own cabin, we can supply your custom made cabin as a kit with instructions.
If your property is in VIC, TAS, QLD, NT or WA, we can send your cabin as a kit for a local carpenter or yourself to assemble.
Is Council Approval needed for a backyard cabin?
Depending on what you are using your cabin for, you may not require council approval for your backyard cabin.
In NSW, some structures can be put in under exempt development, meaning you don’t need council approval. Click here for more information.
If you are looking at putting in a granny flat, studio, home office or pool cabana, you may need to get council approval. Check with your local council as to their requirements.
